Promotion Criteria

The promotion of the student to the next higher class depends on entire session’s performance.
Pass percentage in each subject is 40 percent.
A student who fails to secure promotion on two consecutive years must be withdrawn from school.
A student failing in one or two subjects may be granted promotion provided he/she -
• has passed in English.
• has obtained at least 33% marks in each failing subject.
• has an aggregate total of at least 40%.
• has obtained at least a ‘C’ grade in grading subjects.
• has 80% attendance stipulated for promotion.
