St. Lawrence Sr. Sec. School, Haldwani, hosted its vibrant cultural extravaganza “Samarpan”, celebrating creativity, heritage, and youthful spirit. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful Ganesh Vandana, invoking an auspicious beginning to the day.
Students presented a series of enthralling performances reflecting India’s rich cultural diversity and values. Highlights included traditional dances from Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, a heartwarming skit dedicated to grandparents, a graceful yoga display, and a stirring act on Rani Laxmi Bai, portraying her courage and patriotism. Another powerful presentation, Operation Sindoor, paid tribute to the valour and sacrifice of India’s soldiers.
Hon’ble Mayor Mr. Gajraj Singh Bisht graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by School Patron Mrs. Shanti Joshi, Director Mr. Sunil Joshi, Principal Mrs. Anita Joshi, and Principal of The Base Mrs. Renu Joshi, along with the school staff and parents.
The Chief Guest appreciated the students’ performances and lauded the school for fostering cultural pride, creativity, and moral values among learners. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Principal, marking a memorable day of art, inspiration, and national pride.
